ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt gives an update on his return to basketball and what it means for the league

Posted October 25, 2018 06:25:37Scott Van Pile’s return to the game of basketball will take place at the Barclays Center on Wednesday night, the NBA announced.

The Pistons will be in the Barclays against the Orlando Magic, a game that will air on ESPN.

It will mark the first time the Pistons will play at Barclays Center since the 2015-16 season, which included a four-game win streak.

Van Pelt, who retired from basketball in December of 2018, was back in action when the Pistons visited the Brooklyn Nets on Nov. 1, 2019, the final regular-season game of his career.

The Nets beat the Pistons by 17 points.

The return of Van Pilt to the arena comes on the heels of the Pistons’ first home game of the season, a 116-107 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.
