Tennis player’s girlfriend charged with murder after her boyfriend’s body found in apartment

Tennis player and model Anna Eriksson has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of her boyfriend.

The Associated Press is reporting that Erikson’s estranged husband, Jens Eriksons, 44, died of a drug overdose in January after suffering from an opioid overdose.

According to police, Anna Erickson told her boyfriend, who was in a drug-related binge, that she was going to do it herself, and that she planned to hang herself in her bedroom, according to the AP.

A search warrant affidavit says that Ericksons’ roommate saw her get into a car with an unknown person around 9:45 a.m. on January 24.

The affidavit says the roommate found Erikss body in her room, but said that the apartment was clean.

The couple had been separated for several months, and Anna Eppsons boyfriend, Joeske Brugge, was living with Anna Ersons at the time of the death.

Police say they have no indication that anyone else is in custody.

Anna Ekinsons boyfriend was in rehab, and she was living at the residence when the death occurred, police said.

Anna was not the only one who suffered from an addiction to painkillers.

In April, Eriksen was arrested and charged with the murder of another man, according the Associated Press.

Police said that Ersson told detectives she was using heroin when she and her boyfriend were arrested, but she denied using the painkiller for a second time.
